Thompson Family "Reunion"- Part 1

It was so fun to have my sister and her family here all the way from Alabama for a whole week (three weeks ago-yeah, I'm trying to catch up a little)! My whole family hasn't been together since September of 2008. Here are all the pictures of the many Ben snuggles everyone gave! Lucky little guy is so very loved. And don't worry, I strictly enforced hand sanatizing.

(I feel bad I didn't get any pictures of my two siblings that only live an hour away. They spent most of the week with us as well.)

Dylan was kind of obsessed with holding the "bee bee." He was very soft and actually held still for an extended period of time. Really good for a 22 month old.

Emily said she was excited to have a "baby fix" while she was here. This picture was taken about five minutes after they arrived.

My Grandma Jeanne also came by that week to see our full house of people and also get a little Ben time.

My mom and dad sacrificed being apart for three weeks (would have been two, but Ben was a week late) so mom could come help take care of us! We're VERY grateful for all her time, help, and love she had to give!

Grandpa also joined us from CA the same week Emily was here. Like I said, EVERYone was here. :)

Can't Think of a Title...

I'm a little behind, but during Ben's third week home, we had some wonderful visitors from Alabama! My sister Emily and her adorable three kids and hubby came to celebrate a late Christmas with my whole family and to meet baby Ben, of course. I'll be posting much more about our week together later. But for now, here are the random pictures I took of that week.

While Grandma was here, she loved curling my stick-straight-haired daughter's lovely locks.

Dan's mom took McKenna shopping to give her some much needed time out of the house. She happily returned with an Abu the monkey. And the Baby Mickey Grandma brought back from her Disneyland trip. So much love going on in this picture!

Once again, curled hair=looks grow-up. I also love Ben's arms in this picture.

Newborn Photo Shoot

My fabulous sister-in-law, Lara, came over to our house when Ben was two weeks old to do a little newborn photo shoot. Ben was very cooperative for the most part. His big sister, on the other hand, was not. She still managed to get a few good ones of the two of them together. I was not dressed for the occasion, so she took some of me and Ben together on a later date. :) THANK YOU Lara Jean Photography! We LOVE your work!
