Dec- Week 3- Breakfast with Santa, Nelson Fam. Party, Digital Christmas Card

Wednesday, Dan got to meet Stevenson Sylvester (who played linebacker for the Utes and later the Pittsburgh Steelers) who came to take some children in foster care shopping for Christmas gifts.  They chatted for a few minutes about his career, his family, and his philanthropic activities. Really cool guy!!
We flew this flag all week in preparations for the big Las Vegas Bowl game!  Poor Cougars.
Thursday evening we drove around delivering our neighbor gifts.
Later that night Dan saw the 10:20 pm showing of the new Star Wars movie.  He came home pretty late and speechless about it and couldn't wait to see it again!
I love seeing Anna's imagination coming out.  She loves to tuck her dolls in for naps.
This little one snuggled me like this for a while!  Wish I could let her nap on me like this for hours!  Too bad the other kids have needs too. ;)
More of the kids playing in the snow!  Such a tall mountain by the mailbox!
Dan caught this sweet moment of all of us singing Christmas carols to Bethany.
Friday night we checked into the Hilton Garden Inn for a fun hotel night with the kids and some of Dan's siblings.  We went swimming (mostly in the hot tub) and then watched Santa Clause 3 with Jake and Ailin and kids.  The kids were so cute to write little notes on the hotel pads of paper saying how AWESOME the room was.  Everyone slept relatively well.  Bethany and Dan snuggled in the morning.
Then we went downstairs to the Davis County Conference Center for Breakfast with Santa with the whole Webster clan!
They had delicious food, face painting, cookie decorating, games with prizes, raffle drawings.  letters to Santa, and of course sitting on his lap.

We used this picture for our digital Christmas card this year.

Merry Christmas!  Love the Websters. :)

That night we went to the Nelson Family Christmas party.
The kids loved the crafts and acting out the Nativity.
A shepherd and angel.  Cousin Emma was the star,
Sunday post-church pictures.

 Sweet sister snuggles.
Sunday evening we had Webster family dinner to celebrate the December birthdays.  We also made gingerbread houses!

I LOVE your family togetherness, but, during the holidays it is especially tender to me. You all do so many fun things celebrating the season and Christ's birth. Some day we will get to do it with you. I Hope!!!
