Mar- Week 1- "Be there", Katie's Ballet

Tuesday I went to Ben's preschool for a "be there" activity about Dr. Seuss.

Tuesday evening Dan took Ben to an Eagle Scout court of honor.
Wednesday Bethany cuteness!

Also, Anna's cuteness and McKenna faking.  ;) Anna falls asleep during random times.  If I put her down for a regular nap in her bed, she usually sleeps too long and then ends up being awake until 10pm.  But little cat naps here and there usually don't have the same effect.
Thursday afternoon we attended McKenna's parent/teacher conference.  Her teacher had very good things to say about her; her math and reading are way above grade level.  Way to go McKenna!

Friday, Ben was jumping back and forth from the couch to the ottoman.  Well, the ottoman tipped over, he fell on his side, and cracked the ottoman.  Oops!
Friday afternoon we also had a park day with friends (Moultons, Jensens, Roths, and Lewises).
Friday night I took Anna to her first friend BD party for Madison Malin.  They had pizza, an Easter Egg hunt, a bounce house, and a pinata.  It was so fun to be with her one-on-one for a while.  Such a fun stage!
Saturday McKenna got to attend her cousin's ballet recital and later two more baptisms for primary friends.
We also did TONS of yard work, mostly raking up pine needles and leaves.  The kids played a little with the Alexanders.  Later that night we had an interesting experience.  After eating dinner at Panda express, as I was starting the van, the power went out.  All the building signs around us in the parking lot blinked out for 10-15 seconds then came back on.  We didn't think much of it other than, "That was weird."  We headed across the street to pick up a few groceries at Smith's Marketplace.  Towards the end of our shopping we noticed long lines forming at the check-out stands.  Turns out due to the power outage their system had to reboot and took 40 mins!!  Thankfully, I took the three little kids out to the van so I could nurse Bethany and they watched a show on my phone.  We had a little later than planned bedtime that night, and Dan and McKenna got free donuts while they waited.  But we all survived.

Sunday, McKenna interviewed Grandma Sibber, which Dan recorded and uploaded to familysearch.org. Cool experience for all of them!  We also had some friends over for dinner (the Coombs family--we knew Sharron during Dan's Institute Council days).

Monday I woke up with a bad headache and we attended the Nelson Family BD party at the Ringwood's home in the evening.  They had an awesome March Madness theme with such yummy food!
