May '19- Week 2- McKenna Voice Recital, Mother's Day, Alice Peek-a-boo, Anna 1/2 BD Spotlight, Ben Bug Report

Wednesday I worked more on Alice's calendar.  Emi came over for a play date with Anna.  Ben finished his bug report and bug model (pictured below) then had a baseball game.  I went to book club that night at Shelly's to talk about The Goose Girl.

Thursday I ran 1.5 miles.  Ben had scouts.  I finished Alice's calendar and worked on my teaching license renewal.

Friday Desi and Will Alexander came over to play.  We went across the street to the Swanson's to play on their swing set.  We babysat Hazel while we went to ladies lunch at the church.  I worked more on my license renewal.  After kids were home we ran some errands.  After going out to dinner, we watched "Wonder."

Saturday I ran 2.5 miles.  My 10K training was in full swing now!  I got Mother's Day French Toast from Kneaders!  Bro. Remington came to help with our sprinkler filter problem in the back yard.  The older three kids went to Alana Smith's BD party.  Dan was gone all morning at a work event.  When he got home, he mowed.  I worked on changing out my clothes for the warmer season.  Dan got a haircut while Ben played at the Alexander's and Desi played here.  That evening, McKenna had a voice recital at Backstage.  She did so great!  She sang "Good Girl Winnie Foster" from the new show Tuck Everlasting.

After kids were in bed, we hung the new frames for our picture collage and I finished organizing my clothes.

Sunday was Mother's Day!  We loved having Dan home all morning and leaving at the same time as him.  I also got to skip Primary and attend Relief Society for the social they have.  I took nice pictures of all the kids to use in our new frames.
We Marco Polo-ed our grandmas to tell them how much we love them and how thankful we are for them!
I loved all my cards and gifts so much!

Dan made instant pot spaghetti. We went for a walk and played a bit in the back yard.  Swa dropped off some extra chocolate strawberries from their ward.

Monday I ran 1.5 miles.  We made a poster for Anna's half BD spotlight in school the next day.  We completed our picture collages by getting pictures back from a Costco order.
Alice played peek-a-boo and it was adorable!

Tuesday I worked more on my teacher license renewal.  I went into school with Anna to be there for her spotlight.  She was so brave and not nervous to speak in front of her class and answer questions.  She got to lead the pledge and school motto.
Dan went to Price for work.  Anna had dance and McKenna played with Brittana and Henry came here.  Adam dropped off a dresser that night and Greg Remington came and finished fixing the filter in the back.
Here's Ben's bug model for his bug report.  He was assigned to study and build the stink bug.  It turned out great!  He also wanted me to take a picture of Sadness with a paper flame coming out of her rear end. ;)
