July- Week 3- Bethany Comes Home!!

Getting loaded up to leave the hospital!  As tight as the car seat straps would go, they were still huge on her tiny body.
She got this sweet white crocheted blanket from the hospital.
We were greeted warmly by some cute decorations made/hung by my dad!  So sweet!

Of course everyone wanted to hold her!

We ate lunch then snuggled for a while.  Dan ran some errands with Ben to get some meds and supplies for me.
The kids watched a movie, we unpacked and organized some things, then my visiting teachers brought a yummy pasta and salad dinner with cupcakes for dessert.

After dinner, Dan's sister Brynn came for a visit with her kids.

They all held the baby but also had fun playing dress-up.  Henry had the Tigger costume on backwards.
Truman!
Cute little chicken legs!
That night I washed her hair because she had some gel left over from her hearing test.  Having so much hair can be high maintenance.  ;)
We got the kids to bed, got a few more things organized, and "went to sleep" by midnight.  Bethany had a pretty big spit up in the middle of the night that scared us a little because it gagged/choked her.  But she cleared it out and stayed sleeping in bed with us the rest of the night so we could monitor her more closely.
