Monday I ran three miles and had my fastest mile time yet- 8:40! Anna had dance and Autumn Cundick came over to visit. After lunch, McKenna and Ben had their Mary Poppins Auditions at Backstage! They both did so well! We came home and Bethany spread out all her preschool papers. :) We had a quick dinner, then I took Ben and McKenna back to Backstage for the dance call and call backs. Dan had fun playing with the three little girls. I hung out at the studio and wasted time on my phone.
Ben had a fun dress up session/photo shoot.
Tuesday I went walking with Dan and Anna had dance. After lunch, Ben and Anna played at the Alexander's and McKenna and Brittana babysat at Sam and Lara's. I had my personal history story class and then Arlee came over to play with Bethany. Anna came home sad because she got stung by a bee but she recovered quickly. Everyone took a rest in the afternoon and then we put on our cow spots and headed to Chick Fil A for free dinner. :) We only had to wait 36 mins in line, start to finish. After dinner, we hung out outside for a bit and I played peekaboo with Alice.
We hosted another outdoor movie night and watched "Ralph Breaks the Internet." This time, about 33 people came.

Wednesday I ran two miles on some painful calluses, which cause a bit of a sore foot since I was running weird. Anna had dance and the rest of us went to the $1 movie which was "Sherlock Gnomes." The afternoon was normal and that evening McKenna went to McKinley Ulmer's BD pool party at the Novak's and Ben went to a movie night at the Lewis's.
Thursday we had a normal morning at home while Anna was at Dance. After lunch, we got free Slurpees for 7/11 day! Lizzie and Lia came over for play dates in the afternoon and there was a little fighting going on. :( I tried to do a little Nauvoo research and that night was another outdoor ward game night. Anna had a movie night at her dance studio as well. Also pictured is McKenna trying to "face painting" with some face crayons. Anna is a puppy, and Ben got a caterpillar.
Friday I went walking with Dan and Anna had dress like a Pop Star day at dance. Cousin Eli came over for a play date and I tried to do more Nauvoo research with McKenna. The cast list was finally posted for Mary Poppins and McKenna and Ben got the parts of Jane and Michael Banks!! So exciting!! McKenna went to Grace's for a play date and the rest of us went to the Splash Pad. Alice loved but poor Bethany was starting to get a runny nose so she didn't feel great. Abril came to pick up Eli and the Moulton's also came for a bit. We had dinner at Zupas that night then McKenna, Anna, and I went to the Swanson's to look at and buy some hand-me-down dance company stuff. We also did our first Anti-Pornography lesson with the three older kids and then played games at Sam and Lara's again.
Saturday was my race day!! Sarah drove Amy and I. I had a great first half of the race, and then a pretty slow second half due to really painful calluses and a sore foot. I was quite disappointed but still proud I finished only 2 minutes slower than my goal. I finished pretty much in the middle of the women overall and also in the middle of my age group. We had the free breakfast in the park, it rained on us, then we bought everyone some more breakfast at McDonald's. Bethany went to a birthday party for preschool friend David and we picked up McKenna and Ben's scripts and groceries.
Dan took Bethany out for a BD date. All she said she wanted was to go to lunch with him and shop for LEGOS. In preparation for Bethany's actual birthday coming up on Monday, I asked what she wanted to stick her candle in? She said, "pink, purple, sparkle, unicorn ice cream." I was skeptical such an ice cream existed, so I told Dan to take her down the ice cream isle and have her choose one. Well, look what they found! Alice and I napped, then we went swimming at the Gunnerson's. After showers, we went to a BBQ dinner at Melissa and Jared Smith's. Ben was in heaven with their kittens!
Sunday I taught "I'll Walk With You" in Primary. That night we had some of Dan's Institute friends over for dinner, Sharon and Aaron, and Skoot and Ashley.
