Pioneer Day! (actually the day before)

Yes.  I know Pioneer Day was a week and a half ago.  You'll still read this post anyway.  Right?

Dan had a guys night out at the local Bees Baseball game.
So, McKenna and I spent the evening with some of Dan's family going to the Bountiful City Parade!  The two people circled in red in this picture are Dan's brother David and our niece Emma!  Great job, you two, being a part of the parade!

Everyone who came to support (minus the mother who's taking the photo).
It was quite hot that evening and not much shade.  We kept ourselves cool with spray bottles.

Later that night we went to Dan's brother David's work (an assisted living facility).  They always do fireworks at a decent hour so the old folks can get to bed "on time."

McKenna seems to have conquered her fear of fireworks.  Well, at least for now.  All Grandma and Grandpa had to do was hold her real tight, keeping telling her in a sweet voice she was alright, and keep bouncing. (sorry about the underline- blogger won't let me de-underline it).

You're totally right. I still read it. :)

Can we talk about Blogger for a second and how it thinks it controls the universe? I hate how it does totally random things like underlining things without letting you un-underline. Most recently, mine isn't letting me drag my photos once they upload them. AND, it kept turning a photo sideways even though it was uploaded the right way!!!

AH! Thanks for letting me use this comment as an outlet for my ventation (like unto venting). :)

Your little family is ADORABLE. The end. :)

Aw, she's such a cutie.

I'd so prefer an evening parade! Why do they always have to be in the morning or at noon?

Cutie McPretty! Hi family! :) And Alyson, they have parades during daylight hours so that kids can scramble into the gutters and grab candy more easily ;)
