March '18- Week 4- Wizard of Oz, Webster Family Easter Egg Hunt/Basketball, Crazy Hair Day, Zoo, Easter Egg Hunt, General Conference

Thursday Anna had music and Beth and I waited in the church parking lot across the street.  I wrote some thank you notes and did my make-up.  During naps later in the day, I worked on registering Anna for kindergarten!  Ahhh!  Dan got in some snuggles before heading to appointments in the evening.
That night, Ben threw up 4 times and slept in our room.  We all got very little sleep that night.  :(

Friday was low key as we tried to catch up on much needed rest and get Ben better as well.  In the evening, McKenna, Alice and I went to cousin Joe and Katie's school play, Wizard of Oz.  They did a great job!  Ben spiked a fever and after kids were in bed Dan and I watched more "This is Us."
Saturday was pretty productive.  We cleaned off the kitchen counters, organized kid's school papers,  decided to DI our kitchen spice rack and black canisters, got groceries, and Dan organized the garage.  We had a pizza dinner and finally got to show Dan the movie "Greatest Showman!"

Sunday I stayed home from church once more with this cute face!
Hiccups!
It snowed in the afternoon and the kids watched "Prince of Egypt."  Dan left to give a blessing right before dinner and Melissa Roth brought over a freezer meal.
(Ben built these shape towers and was pretty proud.)

After kids were in bed, Dan went for a walk around the neighborhood delivering some notes and dishes and I wrote some more thank you notes and listened to my book.

Monday at Anna's gymnastics they had the kids jumping in sacks.  It was pretty entertaining to watch.  Bethany chose an interesting way to snuggle Alice.  :)
After dinner we headed up to Grandma and Grandpa's for an Easter Egg hunt then basketball at the church gym.  This was our first Webster family fun night (instead of a Sunday dinner).

All of the three newest grandbaby girls lined up in a row of carseats.  I wouldn't say my kids loved the basketball, but they mostly had fun just being with cousins.  McKenna was so cute to cheer on her others even when she didn't want to play anymore.
We had root beer and pineapple floats for dessert.
Tuesday Rachael took the girls in the morning for a play date.  Bethany's speech teacher came after lunch.  Aunt Mickelle came by in the evening for some time with the kids.  She brought some trial glasses frames to show me and the girls loved trying them of as well.  Dan had a few late church interviews.
Wednesday Rachael came to get the girls again for more play date fun! I was able to shower and rest a little before needing to got get McKenna and Ben from school early due to a power outage.  McKenna played at Camille's after piano.  Ben had his first baseball practice that evening.

Thursday Dan went to Books and Breakfast in the morning at the kids' school.

Bethany played at the Roth's while I went to Anna's music class with her, then my visiting teachers came over.  Dan took Ben to music in the evening and ran an errand with McKenna to get a BD present.

Friday was crazy hair and crazy sock day at school.  McKenna had a great time planning her hair.  Ben wants so badly to participate but seems a little too self conscious.
I put Alice in my bed while I was getting ready and I loved seeing how fast she fell asleep.  I like to think it's because she could smell me. :)
Friday we also had a zoo day with many cousins!  This was my first real outing with Ms. Alice and it was a success.

I met Dan in Murray, he took Anna and Bethany, and I kept Alice with me for a fun lunch date with Mickelle, Jonathan, and Bonnie!
We all got home around 3:30 when McKenna and Ben got home.  We quickly dyed Easter Eggs before heading to the neighborhood Egg Hunt.
Ben even found one of the golden eggs!
That evening, McKenna went to Brittana's BD party where she got a pedicure!

Saturday the kids played in our room until we were ready to go see what the Easter Bunny and brought us!
Lots of candy and one toy each!
Then we made our Conference French Toast and started watching General Conference.  It was so special to be able to participate in the Solemn Assembly.  It was so moving and humbling to watch Grandfather as the church members sustained him as the new prophet of this worldwide church!
During the rest of the session, I snuggled Alice, the girls painted their nails, and they played with the new Spiro Art thing the Easter Bunny brought.
Dan took the kids for a walk while I nursed and worked on some thank you notes.  I also watched a KSL special about the church giving humanitarian relief during all the hurricanes in TX and FL and I saw a quick picture of my mom talking to Pres. Eyring!  During the second session, the kids worked on their conference packets.  Then Dan got ready to go to the Conference Center for the Priesthood session.  The kids and I headed up to Grandma's for soup, salad, and donuts.  Aunt Laurie and Adam held Alice and we enjoyed the recap once all the brethren returned.
