June '18- Week 1- Last Day of School, My BD Date, Alice 3 Months, Brynn's BD Lunch, Gma Pedicure, Bethany Potty Training!

Friday was the LAST DAY of SCHOOL!  I went walking with Rachael in the morning, then decorated my van to be the "Party Van!"

Here are their comparison pictures.  It's fun and sad to see how much they've grown.
Gotta do a goofy shot of course.  They both had some major changes with McKenna getting her braces off and Ben getting glasses.
Some pictures Ben's teacher sent.
We went to Grandma's house for root beer floats and cookies with some cousins.
That night Brooklyn Ulmer babysat while Dan's parents took us out for my BD date.
We had dinner at Tortilla Union, then clothes shopping at Downeast, then treats (smoothie and a blueberry scone).
Mickelle came to babysit half the night so we talked with her when we got home.  McKenna also had a fun night watching an outdoor movie at the Moulton's (Princess Bride).

Saturday we had a productive morning at home while Dan was conducting a funeral (Brother Baird) then went straight to a baptism.  McKenna also had her dance pictures.  We got Keva and Great Harvest for lunch.  McKenna played at the Alexander's in the afternoon.  We also started going through school papers.  McKenna went to an official Beauty and the Beast cast party, and both boys got haircuts that evening.

Sunday Alice looks adorable as usual.  After church, the kids played Legos for a long time and didn't ask for screen time for a long time. :)  (Ben dabbing like his Lego robot.)
Alice turned 3 months old!
That evening we watched Grandfather give a wonderful devotional to the youth of the church.  He enlisted the youth to join the Lord's battalion and challenged them to give up social media for a week and see how they felt.  I decided to join that challenge (more on that later).  Then we went and played outside for a bit.
I took these pictures so I could make some cute comparison shots from when McKenna was the same age.
Monday Dan forgot his laptop for work, so we ran it to him and then timed it just right to meet some family for lunch at Hires to celebrate Brynn's BD!
Cousin Katie came over to play after that.  We had a nice FHE that night, some old friends who moved away form the neighborhood stopped by to say hi, and I worked on taking pictures of the kids' school work.

Tuesday I had a speech evaluation for Bethany and was told she most likely won't qualify again for speech services, which is good news! She has definitely improved, though she still needs to work on some articulating.  That morning Bethany also peed in the big potty so we went to the store to buy new underwear and start potty training!  Ben and McKenna played at Lewis's that afternoon.  McKenna went to dance and we took dinner to Marilee Novak who broke her wrist after falling while walking her dog.

Wednesday it took a while to print some Summer reading packets for Ben and McKenna from their school.  Ben played at his school friends' Anna and Millie's house.  We washed sheets and tidied up the kitchen.  The kids played at the Moulton's in the afternoon while I went with the sisters for pedicures for Grandma Sibber's BD.  I mistakenly thought we had a baseball game that night, but instead we just chilled at home.  The Priests came over that night.
Thursday I ran 1 mile and didn't totally feel like dying. :) Ben went to Henry Alexander's BD party.  We cleaned McKenna's room and the basement.  Korie Brown came over to play and we watched some Studio C and made Clay Charms.  We watched the "Music Man" and McKenna had an extra dance class to get ready for the recital.
Cute Alice smiles!
Bethany did ok with potty training.  It was about half and half me asking her to go and her telling me she needed to go on her own.
