Ben- 9 Months

9 MONTH STATS

Height: 28.5in (1.5in increase in 3 months) 50th percentile

Weight: 18.5lb (4.1lb increase in 3 months) 25th percentile- He's finally filling out!  

Head: 17.9in (.8in increase in 3 months) 50th percentile

(He woke up one morning with a swollen, puffy eye when he had a cold.  Poor sick baby.)

Where's Benny?

He pulls up like it's his job.  Oh wait, it is. 

• No more swaddling (around 7 months old).
• We finally transitioned him from his pack 'n play to a real crib (since McKenna is in her big girl bed.)
• Had his first hair-cut
• Two bottom teeth
• Only nursing 4 times a day: breakfast, lunch, dinner, bed time. 
• Continues to be a great eater.  Loves almost everything we give him.  Still can't convince him to like green beans.
• Baths in big tub with McKenna.
• His eyelashes have gotten so long that they tickle my arm while he nurses.
• In September he learned how to find his own binki in the middle of the night.
• At 8 months old, he army crawled.  Three weeks later he was rocking on his hands and knees.
• By Oct. 20th, he's all hands and knees crawling.
• Went to the Circus
• Oct. 2nd- pulled up in crib.
• First airplane ride and trip to New York.
• Getting more vocal, lots of babbling.
• Went from tummy to sitting up, mid October.
• He's even starting to cruise a little. I think he might be walking by Christmas.  It's SO different to have this very active/busy little boy when McKenna didn't crawl till she was over a year old.
