December- Week 1

Getting ready to fall asleep, all snuggled up, in her carseat at church.
Enjoying her Bumbo seat

Dec. 1st- no snow yet, but windy enough to fly kites.
The next day it looked like this. :)
Experimenting with some little snowflake stamps.
Notice anything out of place in the picture below?
Apparently the wise men in our Nativity rode in on a bike (in front of the palm tree) instead of a camel.
My little "twins."
Seriously, I'm going to post a photo comparison of them both as babies.  They're the same.  :)

Anna's second Jazz game went a lot better!  She was much less fussy.

We went to Festival of Tress with my siblings.  I would post a lot more pictures of our favorite trees, but I need to cut back on some pictures as is. :)
Princesses!
We loved the Despicable Me "gingerbread" houses.
My brother was good enough to carry Anna the whole time and she zonked out right at the end.

First time wearing her Christmas outfit.
At our Ward Christmas party, the Primary children sang "Picture a Christmas" and dressed up as any part of the Nativity they wanted to.  McKenna was an angel (second from the right).  I sewed her costume using a pillow case and tinsel.

Cute baby friends, one week apart.
The kids got to sit on Santa's lap too.
Ben would only get close to Santa if we all did.
Cute Ben with a bruised eye brow (he hit it on a wooden arm rest) and a prune juice mustache.
The Monday night before Thanksgiving, McKenna got to participate in a little children's choir with some of her extended Nelson cousins.  They were filming the children singing "I'm trying to be like Jesus" as part of Grandfather's talk for the Christmas Devotional.  The kids were all very well behaved and sang beautifully!
Practicing before.
Getting set-up with all the lighting.

Here are pictures of our TV the night of the Christmas Devotional.  Grandfather gave such an amazing talk that night!

Twinners with my baby- green and purple

Wise men, MOUNT UP! I love the pic of Anna smiling in the Bumbo and the pic of her and McKenna where Anna's nose is scrunched up. Cute 'stache Benny!
