Nov. 25th- Saturday: We slept in and ate breakfast together. I picked up groceries. Dan gave Ben and himself haircuts. McKenna worked on her presentation board for most of the day. Dan, Ben, and Grant Enquist, went to the Utes game. I exercised and then had lunch. I also hung the Christmas lights on the outside porch railing. I showered and gave Alice a bath. I left with Dan to go to the “Scrooge” dance performance up in Ogden. UFC has a partnership with Davis Performing Arts Comprehensive to raise money for the Wishing Well. McKenna hung out with friends and Ben babysat our kids. Desi was over too. I worked on my talk and on texting invites for our cul de sac gathering.

Nov. 26th- Sunday: I woke up at 8:30. I ate with Anna and Alice. I showered and went to hear Dan talk in the 6th ward. We ran home and got the kids and I spoke in our ward. My topic was “Because I Have Been Given Much.” I felt like it went well and got a lot of very nice comments. I had my family call. We had a Nelson family Zoom call about Thinking Celestial. Grandfather and Wendy were able to be on and he said he has no more back pain! He also gave us a sweet blessing at the end. We had dinner and Ben went to orchestra. The rest of us packed lunches and cleaned up. I left for choir.
Nov. 27th- Monday: I subbed in 2nd grade, Ms. Stutes’s class. She has 3 hard boys that tried my patience, but overall, they were a good class. Dan hosted 9 coworkers at our house for lunch and meetings. Grandma had to pick up Anna from school due to a bad head ache. After school, I drove Bethany to Backstage. I started dinner, then took Anna to gymnastics and attended Let’s Play Music with Alice. McKenna had rehearsal. We ate, then folded laundry, and got the girls to bed. I folded laundry and Ben helped me put paper strips with activities into the doors countdown for Christmas. Dan stopped by Dave and Laurie’s and then picked up McKenna from Backstage.
Nov. 28th- Tuesday: I went into work and helped out in Ms. A’s class and in SPED as Ms. Norman. I then helped in the office. Kindergarten had a visit from Discovery Gateway where they talked about pushing and pulling. When we got home, I took McKenna to Caroline’s. I napped. Ben and Anna had classes at Backstage. I made dinner. Dan hung lights on the front tree. He picked kids up. We ate and then attended Savior of the World with Dan’s parents. We ran into Julie Little Erickson and my friend Ben Cox from BYU days. The show was wonderful!
Nov. 29- Wednesday: I had the day off! I watched the news. McKenna and Ben had late start and I drove them. I worked on picture collages and blogging. I had lunch. The three girls had early out. Bethany and Anna went to piano. Ben forgot his violin, so I took it to him. Alice did some homework. The girls and I delivered some fliers for our cul de sac party/food drive. I took Bethany to Backstage. McKenna and I had a voice lesson with Jenni to work on O Come, O Come Emmanuel. Dan made dinner. McKenna had rehearsal. We all ate. I took Ben to his family search YM activity. I had a presidency meeting and then the YW went to the temple for baptisms. I picked up McKenna and friends from rehearsal. Dan worked on fliers for our neighborhood luminaries idea!
Nov. 30th- Thursday: I drove the girls to school and Dan took McKenna and Ben to the temple. I exercised and ate and showered. I napped, worked on a grocery order, and did some more blogging. I ate lunch and finished the order and picked up Jr. High kids. When I was pulling into the garage, the top of the van hit the garage door! For some reason it looked like it didn’t open all the way. I called a repairman and thankfully they could get someone out very soon! He was able to get it functioning for less than $200! I took Ben and Anna to Backstage. I finished making dinner and ate with McKenna, Bethany, and Alice. McKenna also had piano. I took Bethany and Alice to gymnastics and picked up Ben and Anna. I got ready for my vocal assessment for the Tab Choir. Dan got home and I left. The assessment went well! It was fun and interesting and I have some things to practice before choir school starts. At the end, Sis. Wilberg said, “Welcome to the Tabernacle Choir,” and I got a little teary! I told Dan all about it. He helped Ben set up a Google email.
